This is a bespoke travel management portal for the London-based charity, Family Holiday Association. The portal supports an application process, allowing personnel in professional roles (teacher, social worker, carer) to apply for a short break or ‘day out’ - kindly donated by hotels and tourist attractions - for families they represent. The team at Family Holiday Association can review and manage these applications, bringing together an efficient process that has helped over 8,000 families to enjoy a short break or day out since launch.
We designed and developed a bespoke B2B travel portal for Abbey Ireland & UK. The portal enables travel-trade clients to build custom itineraries with options for accommodation, tourist attractions and coach tours. The solution incorporates payment and booking management capabilities, and integrates with the Umbraco CMS enabling Abbey to manage content on the portal.
The new travel system incorporates a new portal and new B2C website, all designed and developed by CSI using the latest technologies and approaches. The portal supports Hovertravel’s entire booking operation including hovercraft inventory, customer records, ticketing and in-house bookings. It works with Hover’s pre-existing EPOS till system so people can buy tickets in person, but also integrates with the new B2C website allowing customers to book journeys online.
