Adriatic Holidays specialise in gulet cruises in the Adriatic region. As an ATOL-accredited company, Adriatic Holidays are passionate about delivering special experiences for holidaymakers looking to explore the beautiful Adriatic region, from the magical mountain-flanked bays of Montenegro to the ancient walled towns of Croatia.

Adriatic Holidays approached us to deliver a new website to promote their gulet cruises in the Adriatic region and encourage users to enquire. They required a cost-effective solution that enabled them to easily update content. Furthermore, the website needed to appeal to discerning holidaymakers over the age of 40, appealing to this demographic via an intuitive UI and consistent brand identity.

Considering the budget for the project, we felt that a WordPress theme would be the most viable and effective solution. We evaluated a selection of WordPress travel themes and chose one that would appeal to their target audience, and reflect their service, gulet cruises. The website features an intuitive navigation where users can easily find more information on destinations, gulet cruises and holiday extras. They can also request a brochure or enquire.

Our designers carefully examined the theme in collaboration with the team at Adriatic Holidays, identifying elements that were either misplaced or required improvements - from styling tweaks to development updates - to align with their requirements. We optimised the theme by applying custom CSS changes for fonts and colours so that it aligned with their branding…

Furthermore, we designed and developed a custom contact form, whilst our developers made small functional changes to the website, including a ‘pricing’ tab on destinations. By working closely with the team at Adriatic Holidays throughout the project, we were able to deliver a cost-effective, customised WordPress website, tailored to meet their business requirements.

We delivered training on the WordPress admin, thoroughly covering content loading and SEO features to ensure that the Adriatic Holidays’ team maximise the website’s potential. We also installed an SSL certificate and multiple plugins for additional functionality.
