Pissup Tours is an international travel agency that organises stag dos. As one of the first travel agencies that dealt exclusively in stag party weekends, the team at Pissup Tours have organised legendary stag dos for over 150,000 lads in the past 17 years! Their tailored approach and excellent customer service means they are one of the best-reviewed stag companies in Europe.
Our challenge was to re-design the website’s UI to address several UX issues identified by the team at Pissup Tours (Pissup). The re-design needed to engage the target demographic; lads in the 18-30 age range who love the wild and adventurous nature of places like Prague and Amsterdam.
The main objective of the Pissup website was to encourage users to build-their-own stag do by adding a variety of activities and, once they had done this, complete the enquiry form. It had become clear to the marketing team at Pissup that users were finding this process particularly challenging and, therefore, a key aim was the re-design of the itinerary process.
A second objective of the website – which also helps to fulfil the first aim – is to give the user detailed information about the destinations and activities on offer. These destination and activity pages are the most important pages, together with the homepage, because they play a big role in influencing people’s decision on whether to buy.
We re-designed the UI of the website, and the new itinerary process now delivers a fluid user-experience. Given the importance of the destination, activity and itinerary landing pages, and their unquestionable influence on a user’s decision on whether to enquire, we wanted to create something that would really immerse users and make them visualise visiting the destinations and attractions themselves. Therefore, our web designs are very image-focused, encapsulating users in the potential for adventure via powerful visuals. Combined with a colourful and distinctive call-to-actions, the new website delivers an immersive digital experience that resonates with the target demographic.
A high proportion of users to the website visited via mobile, not surprising considering the target demographic. Subsequently, attention was given to designing an intuitive and fluid mobile experience. We also delivered the HTML implementation for the new website.
As part of the project, we created a new and vibrant brand identity for Pissup Tours via a new colour scheme and logo refresh.
