Travel Club Elite is an award-winning, independent online travel agent. As experts in worldwide travel, they organise an array of holiday packages and travel expeditions including family holidays, cruise breaks, skiing, snow sport, sailing and diving adventures. With more than 30 years of ABTA membership and excellent independent reviews, customers can book with total confidence and financial security.
The key requirement was to build a mobile-responsive website, pertaining to the changes in browsing behaviour. The previous website had a convoluted structure where users often had to navigate multiple menus and pages to find what they were looking for. The digital marketing team at Travel Club Elite also cited issues with content management as their existing platform didn’t afford them much flexibility. Finally, the new website needed to incorporate enquiry-management functionality.
We have designed and developed a custom website which delivers an engaging user experience for users across all devices. Built on the latest version of Umbraco, the digital marketing team at Travel Club Elite have a lot more flexibility over content on their website – they can easily (and quickly) add new content including custom holiday packages, special offers and blog articles – whenever and wherever they like. The new website utilises more lead capture methods. For example, users can download brochures and tour dossiers once they’ve provided their name and email address. With this capability, Travel Club Elite have recorded a tenfold increase in customer leads.
A new, custom enquiry management system enables the team to easily manage incoming enquiries and provide quotes using one central system. The system pulls through holiday packages from third-party providers with price and departure information, with the ability to amend pricing and margins.
