Established in 1976, Cargiant is London’s largest re-seller of used cars with an expansive portfolio of over 10,000 cars. Cargiant pride themselves on providing excellent service - this is embodied by multiple award wins including Used Car Retailer of the Year, Car Supermarket of the Year and Independent Dealer of the Year.
Cargiant’s website is integral to their sales’ process, and following poor conversion performance, was in dire need of refreshing. Cargiant approached CSI Media to review the website and, together, we identified the following issues:
We approached the project in a phased manner by releasing small updates over a period - this allowed us to gather feedback from key stakeholders and fine-tune our changes for optimal performance, before rolling out across the whole website.
Our designers created responsive designs for the new homepage, search results, vehicle product and manufacturer landing pages, enabling customers to view and use the website on their mobile, tablet and desktop devices. Vehicles now have a dedicated landing page allowing users to view more information.
Following the launch of the new design in the spring of 2018, we have worked closely with Cargiant on the development of new functionality, additional features and system upgrades:
